A spinoff from the popular show A Dog’s Life, this show still includes dogs, but goes a few steps further. As Whalesong Group produced A Dog’s Life the crew became more and more aware of stories about other animals. Pets, farm animals, and others. People coming to the crew with their stories about not only dogs, but horses, cats, birds, lizards, and so much more. And so Creatures was born, a natural next step after A Dog’s Life where dogs are still important but we expand our horizons. How are cesareans performed on dairy cows? What does it take to show a cat? How about keeping birds? Ever shower with one? Some of our guests certainly have. How to you keep chickens for eggs and meat but also see them as pets? From the everyday to the unusual, Creatures doesn’t discriminate among the animal kingdom. These are the stories of all the animals we love, and some we just aren’t sure if we all love.
